Default Car drives different after this oil change ..why??

I got my oil changed a couple days ago and Iíve noticed that it feels different and Iím not sure if itís a good or bad thing because this hasnít happened before. I had synthetic in it from when I did it myself and drove 7,000 miles and now the dealer did my free one and put their cheap conventional in.

Now my car seems to be more responsive like when I have my foot on the gas it picks up fast but the car feels heavy but drives smooth .also the rpm is up at 3,000 at about 75mph and I feel like the gas gauge needle moved way more than it should have today for my drive to and from work. The dealer said my battery also failed their test and one of my axles in the front is leaking which Iím getting fixed on Tuesday.

I checked the dip stick and it looks fine. I donít want to push the car too much because Iím scared something may be wrong . Itís a 2008 with 149,000 miles . Thanks

Synthetic oil thinner than conventional that's why you can feel it. It also will react different with different oil brands. My tC hates Pennzoil. It drags with it &. Burns it like no tomorrow.
My tC loves Mobil1 & Valvoline high mileage.
My toaster gets Mobil conventional oil coz I'm not gonna be paying $40 for synthetic every 2 months so I can change it myself.

So my gas Mileage is going to severely decrease for the next 5,000 miles? They have been putting conventional in it for 8 years and there was never a problem. My dad said they may have intentionally done something like unplug a spark plug wire to get more business from me because I don’t pay for the oil changes which is not okay. We are going to check it out today better since I finally have a day off.

    Thank you for answering .

No problem. Do check it out. Also makes sure your tires are at the proper psi and your oil filter is not dirty.

tires are perfect checked them. Yes I have . I have gas from Sunoco in it now . All was perfect though before the change . If they did something intentionally should I go back and raise hell ar the dealer . I already know that I’m never taking there again. I’ll do my own now even though I have the 2 free a year deal with them.

I would inspect it first. I personally would raise hell If they did something. If they didn't I would go talk to service writer with your concerns. They rather have a happy customer than one trying to kick their ass lol

Yeah lol. As much as I want a new car I cant afford it for another couple years . So for them to possibly intentionally do something that can damage the car won’t sit well with me. Anyways hopefully it’s a simple fix and I will be able to relax this holiday. I’ll update once we figure out what it is. Thanks =]

my dad cleaned the battery which was alittle low when everything was running . But they overfilled the oil alittle bit so we drained some and now the dipstick reads about 3/4 full. I took it for a drive and it feels a whole lot better but still feels off but it could be because I got use to the nice synthetic. I will call them and tell them
to mAke a note that the tech overfilled.
